Fox Class

We have had a lovely end to the Spring Term in Foxes. All the children have been very welcoming to me and have shown all our school values. We have been focusing on ‘the places we live’- this has been a key focus in Geography when comparing the UK and Africa. We have had lots of exciting investigations; particularly in DT when we have been learning about structures and Science when we have been learning about materials. The weather has started to improve which means we have been able to engage in some valuable learning outside the classroom and we are working on developing the Fox class outdoor area as an extension of our classroom.

There have been a few changes to make our learning high-quality, including the introduction of ‘Rainbow Challenges’ each week which guide the children’s learning through play. The children have enjoyed taking responsibility for their learning and challenging themselves to complete the tasks each week.

Photos of our learning can be seen on Facebook, which we update as regularly as possible.
