Welcome to Squirrel Class!
Our topic has been 'Down on the Farm' this half term. We have started our drawing club and it is amazing! We focus each week on a new story or video which allows us to use our imagination to create our own drawings. We are even creating our own captions to go with our pictures. Some of the stories we have shared include Little Red Hen, The Enormous Turnip and Farmer Duck.
We have been completing different activities to help us learn all about farms during our choosing to learn time. Some of the activities included milking the pretend cow, looking at farms now and in the past and exploring our role play area (farm).
In R.E we have been exploring the questions 'Why is the word God so important to Christians?' and 'Why do Christians perform Nativity plays at Christmas?'.
We cannot wait for our next topic which is 'Out Of This World' (Space).
